Does your church have a trained audio engineer? Turn your audio volunteer into a trained engineer at our six week course specializing in church sound

Topics Covered at the Sound School:

What we find is that most churches will spend money on an adequate sound system that meets their needs, yet will have untrained volunteers in control. People come to church for one reason, and that is to hear. Through our program, taught by experienced instructors, it is our mission to train sound technicians to meet the audio needs of their worship service. We will then connect students who have gone through the program with churches in need of educated sound technicians.

Program length: six weeks
Meeting times:
every Tuesday and Thursday night from 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Cost: $675.00 per person
(includes textbook)

We design and install church sound systems for all types of venues. We can find a solution that is high quality and cost effective.

Projectors and screens have become an integral part of todays worship service and make an impact on clear communication

Lighting is communication, & serves to enhance spoken word, whether it is a spotlight for the preacher or a full production light system.

This is not a two day crash course workshop where most of the information will not be retained. This is a twelve class mini school that is designed to cover twelve separate in-depth topics. Participants will build confidence and a solid foundation in understanding the basics of running audio for a church service.

There are two main goals of the sound school:

The first is the provision of part-time night classes.

They would be held for two hours two nights per week for six weeks. This will be a valuable resource to churches because they will be able to send their media volunteers to be professionally trained.

The second goal is that of providing a one year certificate program.

This would be offered five days a week for ten months. It would be full time, and upon completion there would be job placement for permanent positions in church media departments.

Our future direction would be to add video, lighting, sound design and installation programs, and to eventually become accredited.
